제목 Crystal Engineering of Azobenzene-based Amphiphilic Dye with Metallic Luster for Road Marking
초록 We used crystal engineering of supramolecular dyes and programmable hierarchical superstructures to design and synthesize azobenzene-based organic dye (AGC) with metallic gold luster. Large clustered powdery textures with smooth surfaces are created by combining small powder crystals during the recrystallization process from scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction results. The metallic luster was achieved by dramatic contrast of the AGC crystal between intense light absorption and reflection. In addition, we can fabricate paintable polymer composites with beautiful gold hue by combining hierarchical superstructures and chemical functional groups. These materials can be employed in road lane marking and optoelectronic devices when AGC thin film crystals are combined with poly (vinyl alcohol).
