제목 Adsorption of Carbonyl sulfide on Cu-added SnO2 adsorbents
초록 Research has been focused on the development of more efficient and environmentally friendly ways to cope with rising fuel prices and climate change. Among them, Intergrated Gasfication Fuel Cell (IGFC), which uses coal as a fuel at high temperature and high pressure worldwide, is attracting attention. IGFC is a futuristic high-efficiency power generation technology that combines fuel gas (coal gasification technology) with fuel cell (Fuel Cell). However, since a small amount of sulfur compounds contained in the gasified material causes catalyst poisoning or deterioration of the fuel cell. In this study, it was attempted to improve the efficiency of COS removal by introducing Cu, which is known to have good desulfurization ability, into SnO2 to make cheap adsorbent. The characteristics of the synthetic catalysts were analyzed by XRD, BET and SEM. Desulfurization experiments were performed in various temperature ranges in a fixed bed reactor.
