제목 Proton conducting gel pore filled membranes for high temperature PEM fuel cells
초록 Polymer electrolyte membranes containing a room temperature ionic liquid, 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoromethane sulfonate (EMImCF3SO3) and heterocycle, 1H-1,2,4-triazole in polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) have been prepared. Proton conductivities were measured over the temperature range of 60 to 130℃ under anhydrous condition. Polymer electrolyte membranes containing the ionic liquid have also been proton conductivity tested in a four point probe cell. The conductivity increases with the amount of the triazole and temperature. The obtained results evidenced that the addition of triazole increases the conductivity of the polymer electrolytes by providing hydrogen ions.
