제목 Effect of plasma and direct fluorination treatment on the formaldehyde removal properties of activated carbon fibers  
초록 Formaldehyde gas is harmful to the human body, especially can cause pulmonary dysfunction. In this study, CF4 plasma treatment(PF) and direct fluorination(DF) were introduced to increase the adsorption efficiency of activated carbon fibers (ACFs). CF4 plasma treatment to ACFs were conducted with 10 sccm CF4 flow rate. And direct fluorination treatment was conducted F2 and N2 and flow rates 7:3.  The removal properties of Formaldehyde gas were evaluated by gas chromatography(GC). As a result of BET data, The specific surface area of DF ACFs was decreased to 598 m2/g compare with untreated ACFs specific surface area 1,086 m2/g. And the results of GC the untreated ACFs, it is removed at 98 ppm formaldehyde gas for 100 min, while PF ACFs has increased 320 min and DF ACFs for 180 min respectively. PF and DF treatment improve the formaldehyde gas removal efficiency. .
