Effect of Various Post-Synthesis Treatments on Uranium Adsorption Capacity of Mesoporous Silica Microspheres using Surfactant Template Synthesis Method |
초록 |
We have synthesized uniform silica microspheres with anomalous large mesopores via surfactant template-synthesis method for the removal of the radioactive elements. Effect of post-synthesis treatment of silica microspheres seemed to be significant on the adsorption capacities. In this study, in order to examine the effect of post-synthesis treatments systematically, three different treatment methods were performed for the removal of template and functional organic materials by calcining at 550 ℃, sintering or no sintering after washing out with ethanol. Adsorption capacity of the sintered mesoporous silica microspheres was much higher than that of the non-sintered ones. |
