This study has two purposes: olefin production through dehydrogenation reaction of ethane and CO2 reduction. The catalysts are based on the metal oxide catalyst of iron cerium titanium, which has the best activity in CO2 activation, and is substituted with another transition metal at the cerium site. Transition metals Ni, Sn, Co, and Mn were used. Among those transition metals, Ni, Co, Mn have higher C2H6 conversion but nothing show CO2 activation. In catalyst ceria has good oxygen capacity and release, recovery properties. Also well dispersed catalyst surface in the case of ceria, it has proper basicity in comparison with other transition metals. |
