제목 Rational fabrication of titanium-based nanohybrids for efficient photoelectrocatalytic system
초록 Hybrid nanomaterials with multi-functionality and synergistic properties of the individual components are promising for diverse applications, especially in energy-related fields. In particular, titanium-based nanohybrids generated by combining nano titanium oxide and other components, such as metallic nanoparticles can enhanced elctrocatalytic activities, including stability and recyclability. Nevertheless, t he design and fabrication of titanium-based nanohybrids with excellent features toward photo-and photoelectrocatalysis are still challenging. In this work, the rational development of titanium-based nanohybrids composed of titanium dioxide nanorods and metallic nanoparticles through solvothermal process are investigated. The resultant titanium-based nanohybrids show an enhanced photocatalytic activity for water splitting under visible-light irradiation.
