Sulfonated-fluorinated polysulfones membranes for a proton exchange membrane fuel cell ( PEMFC ) |
초록 |
To fabricate polymer electrolyte for fuelcell with low cost, improved processability, and high thermal and chemical stability, a series of fluorinated polysulfones were synthesized to act as base polymers. Fluorinated polysulfone (FPSf) developed for interlayer dielectric materials represent good candidate materials for the base polymer of a PEM, due to their excellent thermal stability, good mechanical properties, high hydrophobicity and economic price. The FPSf were then sulfonated with fuming sulfuric acid (30% SO3) under a variety of conditions, in order for them to have sufficient PEM properties, such as high proton conductivity and water uptake. A series of sulfonated-FPSf (S-FPSf) with different sulfonation levels were obtained and their suitability to act as PEMs in a DMFC was tested.
