제목 | Deiodonitration reactions of Iodine-rich compounds |
초록 | Iodine-rich compounds like bis(3,4,5-triiodo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methane and bis(3,4,5-triiodo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethane synthesized by our group can be used for Agent Defeat Weapons. Deiodonitration reactions of polyiodo compounds would be an efficient way to produce useful polynitro compounds as potential high energy materials. Our group’s iodine-rich compounds could be promising high energy materials via the deiodonitration reaction, because they have low sensitivity due to the stable pyrazole ring and their symmetric structure. In this study, both 3,4-dinitro-5-iodo-1-methylpyrazole and 3,4-dinitro-5-iodopyrazole have been obtained effectively via the deiodonitration with nitric acid. Bis(3,4-dinitro-5-iodo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethane has been also synthesized from bis(3,4,5-triiodo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethane via the deiodonitration. Compared to the stepwise nitration method, the deiodonitration is more efficient method for polynitro compounds that is applicable as high energy materials. |
