제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Sol-Gel Materials from Triethoxysilyester Derivatives and Colloidal Silica for Plastic Hard Coating Application
초록 Three different types of silanol coating materials were prepared, which are consisted of ester and silyl groups. A:tertbutyl (4-triethoxysilyl) butanoate, B:propyl (4-triethoxysilyl) butanoate, and C:2,2,2-trifluoroethyl (3-triethoxysilyl) butanoate, A novel plastic hard coating materials were prepared by sol-gel process by using inorganic material(colloidal silica AS-40) and organic material silane (MPTMS- methacryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane) with the prepared silanol A,B,C respectively. Thereafter, radical initiator (hydroxyl-cyclohexyl phenyl ketone) was added to the synthesized coating solution to perform UV curing. The coating materials were identified by 1H NMR, RT-IR, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Photo-DSC investigations. After coating performance on polycarbonate sheet with UV curing, the coated surface was assessed by atomic force microscope (AFM), pencil hardness and contact angle measurement.
