In this study, the thermal and mechanical properties of carbon fillers on mixed resin composites were investigated. As the carbon filler, GO was used to induce smooth bonding with the mixed resin, and samples were prepared with the content of GO in the range of 0.1-0.6 wt.%, respectively. Thermal properties were measured using TGA, and thermomechanical properties were measured using DMA and TMA, respectively. Curing behavior and degree of conversion were measured using DSC and FT-IR, respectively. In addition, the flexural and impact strength specimens according to the post-curing time were manufactured according to ASTM standards, and were measured using a UTM and an Izod impact testing machine. After the impact test, the surface morphology of the fractured surface was observed with a SEM. In conclusion, the thermal properties of the epoxy/polyimide/GO composite were not improved, but the mechanical properties of the sample were enhanced compared to that of the EPI-105. |
