Preparation of Low Molecular Weight and Soluble 6-Amino-6-Deoxychitosan for Immobilization of Epidermal Growth Factor |
| 초록 |
Low molecular weight chitosan(LMC) and its derivate prepared by hydrogen peroxide has high solubility. Low molecular weight and soluble 6-amino-6-deoxychitosan(LM-6A6DC) was successively prepared as a reactive carbohydrate for the stabilization of epidermal growth factor (EGF) by the reactions of LMC with sodium hydroxide, tosyl chloride, sodium azide, and LiAlH4. The structure of LM-6A6DC was confirmed by FT-IR spectra. LM-6A6DC did not show any cytotoxicity on the normal human dermal fibroblast (NHDF) proliferation at least in the range tested from 0.01 µg/ml to 10 mg/ml. |
