제목 | Optimal conditions for acid leaching of the slag from the Fe-Ni manufacturing process |
초록 | The optimal conditions for atmospheric acid leaching of the slag from the Fe-Ni manufacturing process have been studied. Acid leaching has been used for recovery a number of value elements from the main oxide components (SiO2 55.6%; MgO 33.3%; Fe2O3 4.0%) of Fe-Ni slag. It is very important to provide the maximum extraction of the target elements, such as magnesium for achieving the high levels of the slag leaching rate. The present experimental study is devoted to determination of leaching characteristics. The results showed that the optimal conditions for acid leaching of Fe-Ni slag are: 0.23 mol for HCl at 353.15K for leaching 4h; 0.14 mol for H2SO4 at 353.15K for leaching 4h.According to those optimal conditions, it can provide the average leaching rate and maximum magnesium extraction for Fe-Ni slag under those optimal conditions were 80% and 90% respectively. |
