제목 Development of Lateral Flow Immunostrip based on Gold Nanoparticle for Rapid and Sensitive Detection of Histamine
초록 This research is the development of lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) strip based on colloidal gold for the rapid detection of histamine. Histamine is one of the important organic compound, but it is well known factor to cause an allergy and inflammation-like food poisoning. It has produced in fish or fish products in the result of the bacterial decarboxylation of histidine that exists in oily fish species like tuna, mackerel, etc. General histamine analysis methods are Liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LS/MS), Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS), Raman analysis. Even though these methods have high selectivity and sensitivity, these require high cost and complicated sample treatment procedure. LFIA technique gives many advantages such as the cost-effectiveness, rapid naked-eye detection and ease of use. As a result, LFIA strip of this research is expected as an rapid analysis method for early detection of histamine due to the simplicity and speed of the detection process.
