Electrochemical systems composed of ionic liquids and polymers are continuously being studied with great interest. Among them, research on increasing the diffusion rate of lithium ions using cationic polymers is drawing attention. Experimentally, it was confirmed that as the size of the counter anion of the cationic polymer increases, the transference number of lithium increases. I tried to elucidate the origin of this phenomenon by analyzing the structure of the polymer membrane as the size of the anion changes. |
