제목 Particle Formation on Nanopatterned Polymer Surfaces
초록 The crystallization of small organic molecules was performed on nanopatterned polymeric substrates in order to investigate the influence of surface characteristics on crystallization. This study investigated the interactions between particles of small organic molecules and the substrate surfaces of poly (styrene-b-ethylene oxide) (PS-b-PEO) nanopatterned arrays. Patterned polymeric substrates having ordered cylindrical domains of 20-30 nm were served as nano-reactors. This thin film consisted of hydrophilic PEO cylindrical domain and hydrophobic PS phases. The surface of nanopatterned arrays before and after the step of crystallization was examined by using the Atomic Force Microscopy (XE-100, PSIA). Spherical particles covered the nanopatterned arrays of the substrate. It was confirmed that the particle formation of small organic materials reflected the nanopattern of polymer substrates when particles were prepared at a proper set of conditions.
