제목 Enhanced Heat Resistance of UV Cured Polyurethane Dispersions
초록 Polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) can be cured by UV(UV-PUD) which benefits from the advantages of both 100% UV cure system and PUD without suffering from any of their obvious disadvantages. Polyimide is an important class of heterocyclic polymers with remarkable heat resistance and superior mechanical and durable properties. Therefore, it is expected that thermal properties of polyurethane could be improved by introducing imide groups into the backbones of hard segment. We introduced imide groups in hard segment of PUD simply by extending the isocyanate terminated prepolymers with dianhydride, and the results have favorably been compared with those extended by diols in terms of mechanical, dynamic mechanical as well as thermal properties.
