제목 Polymerization and Its Characterization of Bio-polyester Using Dimethyl furan-2,5-dicarboxylate As a Monomer
초록 2,5-Furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) derived from hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) is one of the various candidate building block using renewable resource. FDCA has various useful materials with industrial applications such as packaging materials, automotives, fine chemicals etc. Recently we synthesized furan-2,5-dicarboxylate (FDCD) as a monomer for step growth polymerization owing to lower reaction temperature and thermal stability compare to FDCA. Actually we could observe its color-change improvement for polymer using FDCD than polymer using FDCA as a monomer.
