Quantum dot (QD) has been attracting enormous interests to be an innovative display material in optoelectronic devices thanks to its high QY, color accuracy, and stability. To apply QD into optoelectronic devices, acrylate polymers are frequently selected as an embedding matrix of QD because polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) shows high chemical stability and optical properties such as high transparency and refractive index. As technology advances, high resolution of display is required for various display devices such as VR, AR, wearable display and extra-large display. However, conventional display fabrication process such as evaporation has encountered its resolution limit. Inkjet printing technology has become an alternative for conventional limit. In this work, we present UV-curable QD acrylate nanocomposite and its application into inkjet printing process. |
