제목 Syntheses and Photovoltaic Properties of Bis-adduct of Fullerene derivatives for Organic Photovoltaic Cells
초록 Bis-adduct type fullerene acceptors were developed to improve the PCE of OPVs by modification of the LUMO level of acceptor. We also reported novel bis-adduct type fullerenes having o-xylenyl substituent, which showed 5.3% of PCE with 0.83 V of Voc. However, these bis-adduct type acceptors showed extremely low photo-current in the mixture of low bandgap polymers due to low band offset and miscibility problem. In order to solve this problem, in this study, we designed and synthesized novel C60 bis-adducts having different substituents from Diels-Alder reaction of fullerene mono-adduct with various dienophiles, which showed slightly lower LUMO level and better solubility than those of conventional bis-adduct. The electrochemical and photophysical properties of our acceptors were investigated by cyclovoltammetry and UV/Vis absorption spectroscopy, respectively. As a result, about 5% of PCE can be obtained under illumination of 100 mW/cm2 AM1.5 simulated light.
