Preparation of Silver Nanoparticles Using Polymeric Supramolecular Structures |

Size controlled synthesis of silver nanoparticles performed through the reduction of intermediates of Ag-S inorganic/organic hybrid polymers with supramolecular structures(Ag-SR polymers). Ag-SR’s were simply prepared by mixing alkanethiols with solution of AgClO4 in THF. Then Ag-SRs were reduced using several different methods as chemical reduction, UV irradiation, E-beam irradiation and thermal reduction. The silver nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The detail results will be given in the meeting. |
