The ideal support materials of electrocatalysts should have features such as a high electrical conductivity, an adequate water-handling capability, and a good corrosion resistance under oxidizing conditions. Generally, electrocatalysts with a small particle size and a high dispersion will result in high electrocatalytic activity. However, the effects of the preparation method and the structure of various carbon materials as supporting materials have not fully studied to our best knowledge. Therefore, in this work, the effects of the oxyfluorination treatment for carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on the surface functional groups and Pt catalyst deposition are investigated. |
