제목 Improved efficiency in NOx removal of SCR catalyst with enhanced dispersion through porous structure of hexagonal boron nitride
초록 Recently, a necessary of low temperature SCR catalyst goes up due to aspects of space constraints and energy. A high content of active materials is needed for MnOx-CeO2 catalyst because it is easily aggregated during calcining. Many side effects are caused by high MnOx of which price increases, and MnSO4 is formed from reaction with sulfur. The decreasing MnOx leads to resolve the side effects with h-BN to prevent the aggregation and improve the dispersion. Through the addition of h-BN, functional group and dangling bond of the surface help to disperse MnOx-CeO2 on the porous region which is generated from a catalytic reaction h-BN with precursors during synthesis. In other words, owing to interaction between MnOx-CeO2 and porous h-BN, the active materials have enhanced dispersion without any aggregation. Because of the dispersion of MnOx-CeO2 with nano-sized, h-BN supported SCR catalyst shows the highest efficiency in NOx removal at 200℃.
