Polypyrrole (PPy), one of conductive polymers used as an electrode of supercapacitor, has been extensively studied due to its facile synthesis, environmental stability, high conductivity. But PPy undergoes volume changes at charge-discharge process that is acting for a reason of degradation of electrodes. To overcome this disadvantage, we prepared composite films of PPy and graphene. Water dispersible graphene (GPN) powders were prepared with method of liquid phase exfoliation using N-methylmorpholine N-oxide monohydrate (NMMOm), followed by wetting, sonication and drying processes. PPy/GPN composite films including Layer-by-Layer structure of PPy and GPN were electrochemically synthesized from aqueous solution containing pyrrole monomer, GPN and poly(4-sodium styrenesulfonate) (PSS). In this presentation, we will explain increased conductivity, capacitance property, stability at charge-discharge process of PPy/GPN composite films. |
