Scalable water-dispersible carbon materials (single wall nanotube film, graphene powder) were prepared with consecutive N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and N-methylmorpholine N-oxide monohydrate (NMMOm) treatments, followed by the common filtering, sonication, and drying processes. The produced carbon materials film had an almost defect-free structure and good redispersibility in water. We utilize ethyl cellulose (EC) to enhance the ability of water to exfoliate and suspend graphene flakes. In addition EC was possible to control concentration. The outstanding processability and electrical properties of these graphene pastes are verified through the realization of aligned graphene-polymer nanocomposites and transparent conductive graphene thin films. |
