Cell patterning on the ion-implanted domain of polystyrene surface |
초록 |
Surface modification by ion implantation has shown great potential for improving the bio-compatibility of polymeric materials. In this study, polystyrene was irradiated through a mask with 100 keV Ar ions and with fluences ranging from 1x1013 to 1x1016 ions/cm2. The surface property of the ion implanted polystyrene was investigated by using FT-IR, wettability, and XPS analysis. Cells were found to be proliferated on the implanted regions of polystyrene. |
