We studied the thermal characteristics of ZrCo hydriding/dehydriding based on the hydrogen amount and helium effect for the storage and supply of hydrogen isotopes in an SDS (storage and delivery system). As the hydrogen amount increases, ∆T increases from about 2℃ to 5℃ with exothermic reactions. This is assumed owing to the very strong exothermic reactions between hydrogen and ZrCo with an increase in hydrogen. As the helium concentration increases, ∆T decreases about from 5℃ to 3℃ with exothermic reactions. In the case of no helium concentration, ∆T is about 5.5℃. This is assumed to result from the strong exothermic reactions between hydrogen and ZrCo. |
