The thermo-sensitive diblock copolymer was synthesized by block copolymerization of thermo-sensitive polymer macromere onto chitosan backbone using initiator agent as free radical initiator. This diblock copolymer showed thermoreversible phase transition behavior from injectable solution according to temperature change. Its characterization was analyzed by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, DSC, and TGA. In addition, sol-gel transition behavior was confirmed by vial inversion method. These results suggest that thermo-sensitive diblock copolymer can apply to biomedical fied.
