제목 | Enhancement of Interface Area of Electrical Double Layer for High-Performance Supercapacitor Incorporating with Gel Polymer Electrolytes into Electrodes |
초록 | In case of a layer between electrode andelectrolyte is wide in energy storage system (ESS), It is hard to utilize theentire interface for high energy density. It is important especially when thickelectrode or one with a high mass loading is required. In this paper, wefabricate electrode infilling of an ion-conductive organic gel polymerelectrolyte (EI-GPE) into a multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) electrode withhigh mass loading for enhancement of performance. Because of film-formingproperty and ion conductivity, Typical GPE (t-GPE) is placed over the EI-GPE-filledelectrode surface for forming a supercapacitor (SC). Infilling of EI-GPE intoMWCNT electrode provides high volumetric capacitance and energy density due toa large-ion accessible interface. Also, a pouch type SC shows high flexibilityand long cycle life after bending, thus GPE can be used in flexible energystorage device. |
