Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) have played a dominant role in flat panel display by the significant improvement through wider viewing angle, faster switch time, and higher brightness etc. However, LCD market is still requiring higher standards because competition is getting severe and demands for high quality product is extremely strong in especially TV application. In this paper, we reviewed our progress in advanced LC mixture development identifying new classes of materials to yield LC mixtures with faster switching times and better reliability. |
