Recently, lithium-ion batteries are widely used in various areas such as portable electronic devices, electric vehicles, and energy storage systems. In this work, tin oxide (SnO2) used as a main active material shows the capacity of the battery. Barium titanate (BTO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) used as a piezoelectric material for improving Li-ions mobility and electrical conductivity, respectively. When lithiation/delithiation reaction occurs, the composite of homogeneously dispersed SnO2 and BTO nanoparticles in rGO matrix exhibits enhanced electrochemical performance of the battery resulting from the synergy effect of the volume expansion of SnO2 and the local piezoelectric field of BTO. |
