제목 Flexible and Wearable Polymeric Heaters Enabled by Liquid Metal Inclusion
초록 The wearable heating device is becoming more and more noteworthy due to increasing interest in soft robots, flexible electronics, and skin-like sensors. Liquid metal is highly adequate for wearable electronic devices because of its metallic conductivity, high thermal conductivity, fluidic nature, and low toxicity. In this study, we fabricated a stretchable, flexible, and wearable polymeric heaters by employing liquid metal (LM, eutectic gallium-indium alloy) and carbonyl iron particles loaded liquid metal (CIP-LM) patterns that can generate thermal energy by Joule heating and induction heating. We utilized stencil printing  and spray coating to pattern the LM and CIP-LM on two polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS, Sylgard-184 and Ecoflex 00-30) substrates. The thermal characteristic is demonstrated by LM inclusion and manipulated as a function of the CIP concentrations in the LM. This wearable heating device would be potential for applications in thermotherapy, and wearable devices.
