Study on mechanical properties of γ-Al2O3/methacrylic acid(MA)-g-PP/PP blends |
초록 |
An experimental study was made to investigate the effect of surface treatment agents on mechanical properties of the particulate-filled polypropylene, and the effect of the radiation grafting of polypropylene on the properties of blend polymer comprising polypropylene and γ-Al2O3. The surface treatment agent used was silane coupling agent to improve the interfacial bond between the filler and the polymer. The grafting reaction of polypropylene and methacrylic acid(MA) was carried out by radiation. Polypropylene and MA-grafted polypropylene were filled with coupling agents-treated or untreated fillers to examine the properties such as tensile strength, elongation and tensile moduli. |
