Effect of hydrophobic modified kaolinite after exfoliation on the barrier and anti-corrosion performance for epoxy coating |
초록 |
To development barrier and anti-corrosion performance of kaolinite/epoxy coating, lithium chloride was used for exfoliation and siliclad(octadecyl functional silane) was used hydrophobic modification. Results obtained from X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) confirm that the kaolinite was successfully exfoliation. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) confirm that the kaolinite has successfully modified to hydrophobic surface. Then the kaolinite was introduced into epoxy coatings on the carbon steel. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) confirms that anti-corrosion performance of kaolinite/epoxy coating. Modified kaolinite can effectively increase anti-corrosion properties for epoxy coating. |
