제목 Development of Organic-inorganic Hybrid Coatings for Automotive Polycarbonate Glazing
초록 In this study, we performed development of organic-inorganic hybrid coatings for automotive polycarbonate (PC) glazing. The coating was prepared with silane-modified acrylic resin, silica sol and melamine through the sol-gel process. The coating solution applied spray coating on the PC surface and dried at 80℃ for 10 min before being cured at 130℃ for 30 min. The coating had different coating performance, such as adhesion property depending in the inorganic molecules. The organic-inorganic hybrid coating was evaluated as hard coating for PC, and it was demonstrated by Amtec-Kistler car wash test, abrasion test, pencil hardness, pendulum hardness and optical properties tests.
