제목 Study on the origin of green emission of polyfluorenes and oligofluorenes
초록 It is well known that blue-light emitting polyfluorene suffers from unwanted color change when exposed to high temperature or electric field. It is generally believed that excimer formation or keto-defect is responsible for the green emission of polyfluorene. We performed time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy using oligofluorenes with varying side chains and end-capping groups, which have higher purity compared to polyfluorenes. Using pristine and thermally annealed oligofluorene films, two different modes of green emissions were observed which would have different origins. Moreover, morphology effect on green emission of oligofluorene films will be also presented.
