제목 Beyond 1 V of Open Circuit Voltage in OPVs: Combination PCDTBTs and higher LUMO level Acceptors
초록 During the past several years, the power conversion efficiency of OPVs has been remarkable improved due to the development of novel photoactive materials. As the open circuit voltage of OPVs originated from the energy gap between the HOMO level of donor and the LUMO level of acceptor, it is very important to modify the energy levels of photoactive materials. Therefore, we have focused on the development of high LUMO acceptor materials and reported HLF series acceptor materials having higher LUMO level in comparison with that of PCBM by 0.2 V. Also, we have synthesized low HOMO level donor (PCDTBT, -5.5 eV) and obtained 4.5% power conversion efficiency with a combination of PC70BM, which is almost same value with M. Leclerc's results. Now, we suggest that the Voc of OPVs with a mixture of PCDTBT and HLF as a photoactive layer can be reached above 1.0 V. Also, we will discuss the J-V characteristics of our devices and photophysical/electrochemical analyses of photoactive layers.
