제목 Fabrication of polyaniline-coated magnetite/silica core/shell nanoparticles and their dual Stimuli-Responsive properties
초록 The well-defined polyaniline-coated magnetite/silica core/shell nanoparticles(Fe3O4/SiO2/PANI NPs) are successfully fabricated for dual stimuli-responsive fluid application. Fe3O4 nanoparticles are synthesized using thermal decomposition method and protected from agglomeration by forming silica shell. Afterwards, PANI is coated to increase the electrorheological efficiency. Fe3O4/SiO2/PANI NPs-based fluid represents dual stimuli-response under both electric field and magnetic field. Noticeably, Fe3O4/SiO2/PANI NPs-based fluid exhibits excellent anti-sedimentation property and high colloidal stability. These findings may provide an essential understanding of electro-magneto-responsive behavior and offer possibilities of Fe3O4/SiO2/PANI NPs-based fluid for their applications in a smart control system.
