제목 Low Bandgap Polymers Based on Poly(thieno[3,4-b]thiophene)benzodithiophene Through Systematic Regioregularity Control for High-Efficiency Polymer Solar Cells
초록 Polymer solar cells (PSCs) have attracted considerable attention due to their special advantages such as light weight, flexibility, and low fabrication cost. Recently, the series of poly(thieno[3,4-b]thiophene)benzothiophene (PTB) copolymers composed of thieno[3,4-b]thiophene (TT) and benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene (BDT) segments have been developed for high-efficiency PSCs. However, conventional PTB polymers basically possess regiorandom configuration which could lead to negative effects of physical properties. In this study, we successfully synthesized regioregular polymers (PTB-A) which sulfur atom of TT-one face each other across the BDT-O and regioregular polymer (PTB-B) which sulfur atom of TT-one face each other across the BDT-T. The inverted BHJ PSCs based on PTB-B exhibited a little higher power conversion efficiency (7.98%) than PTB-A (7.67%) because of enhanced Jsc and FF.
