제목 Conjugated polymer nanoparticles coated with bio-polymers for in vivo biodistribution study
초록 Conjugated polymer nanoparticles can be easily prepared via in situ colloidal Knoevenagel polymerization of aromatic dialdehydes and diacetonitriles. Capacity for in vivo imaging of these particles was speculated due to their bright fluorescence in the NIR region, but their application was limited to sentinel lymph node mapping due to negative surface charges and lack of functional groups for further modification. In this research, the surface of nanoparticles was modified by using PS-binding peptides and functionalized bio-surfactant. The particles could be coated with sugar-based polymeric surfactant during their preparation, and PS-binding peptides could interact with the surface of the nanoparticles by π-π stacking and van der Waals force, because the particles consist of cyanovinylene-based polymers. Polyethylene glycol and cancer targeting ligands were conjugated on the nanoparticles utilizing the functional groups on the bio-polymers, and the potential for bio-imaging was investigated.
