제목 Oxyanion treatment by water-soluble organo-building blocks of 3-aminopropyl functionalized magnesium phyllosilicate (AMP clay)
초록 We report that oxyanions (As, Cr, CN) in water by wrapping of 3-aminopropyl functionalized magnesium phyllosilicate (AMP clay) due to electrostatic reassembly process. To be best our knowledge, this assembly technology for water treatment by this organoclay doesn’t have reported yet. Herein the morphology and layer property of organoclay was analyzed by TEM and XRD, respectively and followed the removal capacities of oxyanions by organoclay and increase in d-spacing of precipitate of organoclay and oxyanions were studied. Furthermore, the detailed removal mechanism was confirmed with FTIR and STEM. However the increased pH (ca. pH 10) of protonated (cationic) AMP clay to be discharged and competition with OH- ions has slightly reduced the removal efficiency.
