제목 | Effective hydrogen production by water/methanol photo-splitting using Cu2-xGaxS2 catalysts |
초록 | Since industrialization, the use of fossil fuels has soared, and the problem of energy exhaustion has become serious. As a result, interest in renewable energy has increased worldwide, and hydrogen energy is attracting attention as a next-generation clean energy source. It is important to develop a high-efficiency photocatalyst as a method for solving environmental problems and energy problems at the same time. Therefore, in this study, we tried to increase hydrogen production efficiency by adding Ga to CuS which is well known as a water decomposition catalyst. When Ga is added to CuS, the bandgap of the catalyst is reduced, and charge separation easily occurs. The physical and chemical properties of the synthesized catalysts were confirmed by XRD, SEM, TEM and optical properties were analyzed by UV/Vis, PL, Photocurrent and IMVS measurements. As a result, it was confirmed that the Cu2-xGaxS2 catalyst increased the photocatalytic activity with efficient charge separation efficiency. |
