Melamine formaldehyde microcapsules(MFMs) made of in situ polymerization are studied in variety of fields as adhesives, cosmetics, insecticides and drug carriers due to their property that can contain various materials and that can be decomposed by pressure sensitively. We produced MFMs containing chloroform using melamine formaldehyde. MFMs were characterized by FT-IR, DLS, SEM and confirmed that the MFMs had an empty capsule structure containing chloroform through optical microscope. MFMs can contain various organic conjugated polymers inside the empty space. we will discuss optical properties of fluorescent conjugated polymers inside the MFMs. |
