The conjugated porous polymers (CCPs) are versatile due to the lightweight, high porosity and linkage by strong covalent bond. Taking advantage of their high porosity, CCPs have been spotlighted as the candidate for gas storage and gas separation. By designing the building blocks as the skeleton of CCPs, the pore size and pore environment could be tuned for the gas storage or separation. Hence, we prepared the CCP that consist of polyphenylene by self-assembly of monomer and subsequent reaction. The characteristics of polyphenylene was characterized with XPS, FT-IR, TGA, and BET. |
