제목 A study on the mechanism of high-purity crystal growth in ionic liquid using solvent recrystallization method
초록 Today, low molecular weight organic materials which are used in OLED devices are purified from continuous sublimation method. Since the purity of the organic material affects the color, luminous efficiency, and lifetime of the OLED, it is important to obtain high-purity organic materials those do not contain impurities. However, in the sublimation purification method, it is difficult to obtain high purity through a single process. Therefore, a recrystallization method has been verified in this study. It is possible to obtain a high-purity material using a temperature gradient method by dissolving Tris(8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminum(Alq3) using an ionic liquid so called as a green solvent. With this process, organic materials can be purified in simple step and fine crystals were observed according to the heat treatment temperature and time. The crystallization yield was measured to analyze the crystallization characteristics.
