Superhydrophobic surfaces, with contact angle (CA) larger than 150o have been widely studied and used in research and industrial fields owing to their fabulous physical properties, such as water repellency, lubricity, self-cleaning, antifouling and so on. Designing suitable form of pattern and combined with chemical compositions of the surface, is crucial for preparing superhydrophobic surfaces. In this study, the UV curable resin with non-toxic property based on acrylic materials has developed. Special pattern structures of honeycomb morphology were achieved using UV-Imprint lithography process (UV-ILP) on the PET (poly(ethylene terephthalate)) film and the transparent-PI (polyimide) film. And then, we investigated various properties of pattern film such as morphology, contact angle, and cytotoxicity. Finally, superhydrophobic pattern film, with contact angle (CA) larger than 150o was fabricated and did not show significant cytotoxicity. |
