Reduction of NO (Nitric oxide) was investigated in an atmospheric pressure plasma coupled single/binary (Ag, Cu, Zn) catalysts on a γ-Al2O3 supporter, i.e. total 4 wt% of single or binary catalyst were loaded by incipient wetness impregnation method and calcination process at 500℃ in 5 hours. Here, we showed effects of single and binary catalyst conjugated with atmospheric pressure plasma on the NO reduction. The effects were considered regarding NO reduction efficiency, energy efficiency, and selectivity of products. To explaining the results of plasma-catalysts, several methods have been used to analyze the catalysts, e.g. BET, SEM, TEM-EDAX, and XRD. Consequently, critical results of the plasma-catalysts for reduction of NO showed in this report. |
