제목 | Biodegradable Nanoclay/DMSO Composites for Solid-State Ionic Conductor |
초록 | Solid-stateelectrolyte(SSE) batteries have been broadly studied as a substitute toovercome these disadvantages of liquid electrolytes. Furthermore, the sodium-ionbattery has been actively studied as a next-generation battery with variousadvantages such as similar cycling stability and identical working mechanismwith a lithium-ion battery, abundance, and low cost. In this study,nacre-mimetic nanolayered structures are prepared withmontmorillonite(MMT)-dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO). These MMT-DMSO composites showsuperior electrochemical properties with an ionic conductivity up to to 2 × 10-4 S cm-1 andmechanical toughness up to 210kJ/m2. Also, DMSO molecules weremolecularly confined in between the MMT plates, it was shown by the X-raydiffraction pattern. Also, these films have thermal stability at the range of-100 to 120℃ andon-demand bio-degradability by super worms. |
