Nanoscale Metal Network-Based Electrodes for Wearable Optoelectronic Devices |

Wearable devices draw much attention in various electronic applications such as displays and touch screen panels. Although indium tin oxide (ITO) has been most widely and commonly used as transparent electrodes for the applications, ITO shows disadvantages such as relatively unstable, expensive production cost and poor mechanical robustness on flexible and stretchable substrates. Silver nanowire (AgNW) meshes are considered as one of the most promising alternatives to ITO, and they shows excellent properties on various flexible and stretchable substrates. With our novel low temperature fabrication process below 100 °C, various polymer substrates, including poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA) have been successfully utilized showing superior flexibility and stretchability with high-performance AgNW electrodes. |
