제목 Indacenodithiophene-based A-A'-D-A'-A type Acceptor for High Performance Polymer Solar Cell
초록 Two kinds of indacenodithiophene-based type acceptors bearing thiophene and thiophene carboxylate were successfully synthesized. Two acceptors (e.g. IDT-T and IDT-3MT) were found to have different polarity owing to weak accepting character of thiophene carboxylate. Due to the different polarity, acceptors were expected to show different miscibility with donor polymers (e.g. PBDB-T). IDT-3MT bearing methyl-3-thiophenecarborxylate (weak acceptor; 3MT) as π-bridge substituting thiophene in IDT-T. 3MT moiety with weak electron affinity can increase the difference of the LUMO energy levels between the donor and acceptor (ΔELUMO), and provide enhanced driving force for efficient exciton dissociation resulted as higher JSC in OSCs. Among two acceptors, as-cast blend film (solvent additive free) of PBDB-T and IDT-3MT exhibited the highest power conversion efficiency of 8.37 % due to complementary absorption and favorable internal morphology in application of polymer solar cell.
